How to Check PM Kisan 16th Installment Beneficiary Status?
Farmers can track their payment status online by following these simple steps:
- Visit the official PM-Kisan portal: pmkisan.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the **'Know Your Status'** module under the 'Farmers Corner' section.
- Enter your Registration Number and the Captcha code shown on the screen.
- Click on 'Get Data' to view your beneficiary and payment status.
Mandatory e-KYC for 16th Installment
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has made it explicitly clear that e-KYC is mandatory for all registered farmers to receive the 16th installment. If your e-KYC is pending, your funds will be halted.
Ways to complete e-KYC:
- OTP-based e-KYC: Available directly on the PM Kisan portal. Requires an Aadhaar-linked active mobile number.
- Biometric e-KYC: Can be completed by visiting your nearest Common Service Center (CSC).
- Face Authentication: Through the official PM Kisan Mobile App available on the Google Play Store.
What to do if payment is delayed?
If you don't receive the SMS confirming the deposit of ₹2,000, verify the following:
- Ensure your bank account is seeded with your Aadhaar number.
- Ensure the bank account is DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) enabled.
- Check for any mismatch in your name spelling between the PM-Kisan database and your Aadhaar Card.
