ASSEB Vacancy Details 2026
1. Junior Administrative Assistant cum Program Assistant
- No. of Posts: 2 (UR: 02)
- Pay: ₹18,000/- per month
- Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate in Computer Science or a related subject from a Govt. recognized institution, having a minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 50% in 12th, and 50% in graduation.
- Note: Candidates with an MCA qualification from a Govt. recognized institute will be awarded up to a maximum of 15 extra marks during the selection process. Candidates with relevant work experience in any Govt. or Govt. Undertaking offices will be awarded up to 10 extra marks.
2. Junior Administrative Assistant cum Accounts Assistant
- No. of Posts: 2 (UR: 01, OBC/MOBC: 01)
- Pay: ₹18,000/- per month
- Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate in Commerce from a Govt. recognized institution, having a minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 50% in 12th, and 50% in graduation.
- Note: Candidates with a CA inter passing certificate will be awarded 10 extra marks. Candidates with relevant work experience in any Govt. or Govt. Undertaking offices will be awarded up to 10 extra marks.
Other Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2026.
- Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is available (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years).
- Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered in a District Employment Office of Assam.

Selection Process
The selection process for the Assistant posts will comprise:
