The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is the entrance examination organized by the Government of Assam for admission into various B.Tech. programmes in the engineering colleges of Assam. The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2026 will be conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).
ASTU released the official notification on 7th March 2026 for admission into the B.Tech. programme for the Academic Session 2026 - 2027. Interested and eligible candidates who have passed or are appearing in the 10+2 exam may apply online.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must pass the 10+2 Qualifying Examination in a single sitting, without any grace marks in mandatory relevant subjects. They must pass individually in both Theory & Practical.
Eligibility Criteria
- Resident-ship: Must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent Resident of Assam (Valid PRC required).
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in 10+2 standards.
OR Passed 3-years Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 45% (40% for reserved) marks.
OR Passed B.Sc. Degree with 45% (40% for reserved) marks and Mathematics in 10+2. - Age Limit: Not below 17 years as on 31st December 2026. No maximum age limit.
- Fitness: Must be physically and mentally fit (Medical certificate required).
Application Fee
An application fee of ₹1500/- is required for all candidates. Payment can be made online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
Assam CEE 2026 Admit Card
The ASTU authority will release the Assam CEE Admit Card 2026 on the official website. Candidates can download it from 26th May to 4th June 2026 using their Application Number/Username and Password.

- Marking Scheme: +4 for correct answer, -1 for wrong answer.
- Medium: English and Assamese.
